Hi, I've got a 7 week old hen that seems to have injured her foot.
She's able to use her good leg to stand up and hold the injured foot up, but doesn't put any weight on the injured foot. When she sits down, the leg splays out in front of her. It's almost like the foot is paralyzed. The toes aren't curled, just kind of still. Over the last two days, I've noticed some marks on her leg and foot. I've separated her from the two roosters of the same age that I got her with, and they're showing no signs of mareks. Attached are some pictures of her foot and where the leg meets her body. It's almost like she's picking at them to get them to work, but I do worry about mites or something.
She's been eating a drinking as normal as well.
Thank you for the help!
