Hi iajewel,
I wouldnt want you to go to the trouble of posting anything all the way to New Zealand. Im sure I can find any recommended medicines here. Thank you for the thought though!
Today my hen is still moving around pretty well. She is no longer the boss of the coup, she has slipped back a notch to last in the pecking order now. Her crop is still puffed up, no eggs from her, and still rolling her head around while swallowing. Ive been giving her bread and milk and also getting some diluted garlic juice into her. I dont think she is on deaths door but she has been unwell for quite a few weeks now. I havent noticed her vomiting anymore thank god!
Beautifulbirds, she is a very friendly bird and even flew part way to come see me last night! So she cant be doing that bad aye. I think its an infected crop or sore throat personally and Im hoping the garlic will fix her up. Wait and see I guess. Thanks for your advice too.
Cheers Bevan
