Hen walking on hocks. Don't know what to do. Please help!

I'm sorry for your loss.

As @Eggcessive suggested if you have any more showing similar symptoms as necropsy may be in order.

Marek's is a good possibility, I was also thinking possibly Mycoplasma Synoviae which can cause walking on hocks/lameness as well.

What ended up happening with this hen? I have one that's showing very similar signs :(
I have similar situation, I cut pieces of k tip to straight the fingers with tape than I put a bandage large enough so the fingers were spread than I put a tape from the tip of the bandage and rapped it on her knee to prevented it to go back wards .
She was able to stand . I have her separate and will start on vitamins today . I hope this helps . Please let me know what you have tried . Thank you .

I have free range guineafowl, and one male turned up today with this same problem. I caught him and couldn't find any injuries, just walking on his hocks with toes slightly curled. Could this be a deficiency too, or a genetic problem? He is a little over a year old.

Unfortunately she got much worse. She couldn't move at all, she was showing a lot of signs of stress, and her eating slowed significantly so we decided to cull her. It was a really hard decision but her quality of life was very poor at that point so we thought it was the most humane thing to do. I wish you luck with your girl. Make sure to check for sprains/breaks and bumble foot. You can also try the vitamins but unfortunately none of that worked for me.

About 2 weeks ago I had an 8mo old hen go lame and started walking on her hocks. I removed her from group, and within a few days both legs were lame. She is still eating and drinking. Tonight I noticed she now has runny stools. She gets scratch grain, layer crumbles, larvae worms. At times give them fresh greens. And fruit. Now today a different chicken is showing signs of lameness in one leg. Any help please

I would put them on all layer feed, and no scratch grains. Then get some human vitamin B complex with all B vitamins, and give each chicken 1/2 tablet daily. Riboflavin (vitamin b deficiency can cause similar symptoms but Mareks could also be a problem. Treating with B complex for a couple of weeks will either work, or no.
