Hen walking on hocks. Don't know what to do. Please help!

I'm sorry for your loss.

As @Eggcessive suggested if you have any more showing similar symptoms as necropsy may be in order.

Marek's is a good possibility, I was also thinking possibly Mycoplasma Synoviae which can cause walking on hocks/lameness as well.

What ended up happening with this hen? I have one that's showing very similar signs :(
I have similar situation, I cut pieces of k tip to straight the fingers with tape than I put a bandage large enough so the fingers were spread than I put a tape from the tip of the bandage and rapped it on her knee to prevented it to go back wards .
She was able to stand . I have her separate and will start on vitamins today . I hope this helps . Please let me know what you have tried . Thank you .

I have free range guineafowl, and one male turned up today with this same problem. I caught him and couldn't find any injuries, just walking on his hocks with toes slightly curled. Could this be a deficiency too, or a genetic problem? He is a little over a year old.
