Hen is acting strange legs are wobbly and she takes a step forward but then hunches down and backs up like she's trying to back out of something. She seems almost like she's blind or can't see well. She only eats when it's put in front of her but she never goes back to it.

How long has she been acting like this? Any other birds showing any sort of symptoms? Can you get a photo of her eyes?

Hi thanks for posting. This is the second day and no others are acting odd.
I'll try to getvthe phot tomorrow.

I checked her feet they look fine. She easts an organic layer feed and fermented organic feed and foraging everyday.

I was told to give her activated charcoal just incase she ate something toxic. So her poo is black. I'm not sure whatvit looked like before.

Please post photos of your hen and her poop.

How old is she?
Is she laying eggs? If so, when was the last one and was it normal or soft shelled?

Is she molting? Look for new pin feathers coming in around the head/neck, back and wings. Sometimes during molt, a hen will act like they are trying to back out of something, likely a pin feather is poking them.

Work on hydration. See that she's eating her normal feed. If you have vitamins, start her on those.
