Hen with 2 deep cuts and bald spot on back

It is rooster damage. you don't have enough hens for him. so he is doing his duty all to one hen. she is doing the job of 10 hens...
spurs can be taken off.
keep him away from her.
if you are looking for hatching eggs, let them together once or twice a week and you watch closely. after he does his duty, separate them immediately .
she will heal from her wounds.
other hens are not the problem here..

She is screaming because she is not cooperating with him and the fact that he is chasing her also tells you that she is not willing.... that is likely to lead to injury. He will grab her and she will pull away.... that is how feather loss happens. He needs to stand on her back to mate her and hold onto the back of her neck to balance himself. She is supposed to squat with her wings wide to balance herself so that she creates a steady platform to support his weight. If she is struggling, he can easily slip and gash her.

This problem, for the most part, should resolve itself with time. When he gains some experience, and the hens learns to cooperate, it usually turns out fine. It's just in the beginning, lack of experience, lack of cooperation, and raging hormones can be a bit tricky for them to navigate. 3 hens are sufficient for a decent rooster. If/when the hens get bare backed, put him in a bachelor cage/pen for about a month. I usually only have to do this once a year.
