Is it possible for you to get a couple of pictures.. and UPLOAD them here? Maybe a picture of what you are "pulling off/out".. and, a picture of her vent with this "crusty" exposed or visible?
You say "a small balll of hard crust IN her vent".. is it "IN" her vent, or "ON" her vent on the outside? Is is poop?
Only guessing without seeing it... but, if she got "scraped" (scratched, injured) inside her vent while you were treating her for Eggbound.... it may be better to leave it alone and let her heal.. maybe it's a "scab" of sorts?? Or, continue to treat her for Eggbound... and note that in the posts about "Eggbound treatment" it talks about using an oiled finger to feel around inside. Maybe some oil.... olive, vegetable, or mineral oil on a finger, smeared inside her vent -- on this "crusty" stuff will help it to soften up and ultimately loosen and come out on her, on its own.
Still... just guessing without pictures... but, if she was Eggbound and she passed that egg... she would or should lay again, within a day or two.
Have you Checked, Searched her for Prolapse... or Prolapsed vent.... you might have another issue here that is not clear to us without pictures.
Keep her isolated until she is laying and pooping normally.. for a gallon of water add a Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar. Give her some TLC and keep on giving her the warm, soothing, "Eggbound" bathes and massages, it can't hurt her and you can repeat it as often as necessary. Three or four times a day until she lays and poops normally?
Keep her with fresh food and water daily.. in a warm quiet place.. you can mix her LAYING feed with a little warm water and yogurt. You can make her some scrambled eggs and add some yogurt to them.
To get help.. use the Search here on BYC.. or please give 'us' more information and / or pictures, or both.... thanks.
Best of luck...
