Hen with bad smelly watery poop. HELP
My Rhode island red has been having this problem since last spring. The poop sticks to her back feathers. When I check the coop floor, there is liquid below their roost. The other three show a little poopy back feather. Not as bad.
They eat layer pellet, and cracked corn.
Measurement I took since this past summer: 1- fresh daily water mixed with organic apple cider. 2-at least once a week I give them mixture of yogurt and crushed garlic. They do not eat garlic by itself. I have tricked them this way. 3- I put all four of them on mild corid treatment a few months ago just incase.
Do not know what else to do. Please help.
