Hen with bloody vent

I have three chickens and the oldest, Chili, has been acting a little odd this week. She's always been a pretty relaxed hen, but she's taken a few flying leaps at us the last two days during free range time. We noticed some blood in the laying box too and a quick survey found Chili is bleeding from her vent.

We did our best to clean her up with some warm water, but every time we pick her up, we find more blood. She's also not as plucky (aside from the two times she launched herself at us). While free-ranging she was staying further from the other two hens (who she usually either bosses around or cuddles up next to in the dirt), and mostly she spent her time standing completely still.

We separated her from the other two girls so she doesn't get pecked at, and gave her another wipe down, but aside from that, I'm not sure what we can do or what to expect. She is about 4 years old, and has been laying less and less over the last few weeks. She hasn't laid an egg in two days, so I'm worried something may be stuck.

We inherited her from a family member a few months ago, so we're fairly new to chickens and would love any advice.

Thanks in advance!

It looks like it's coming out of her vent - but the other birds definitely took a peck or two.

Nothing seems to be protruding. At most, the bottom seems a little swollen, but nothing is hanging out.

Give her a few days of separation to see if it stops, than you will know for sure if it's coming from inside.

If she's truly bleeding out of the vent and it isn't from pecking or stretching than I would think it isn't anything good.
