Hen with broken leg at the knee joint

Deepest Condolences @featherhead007. :hugs

Sometimes it's the last gift of love we can give them, releasing their little souls to fly free.

I'm facing that same dilemma with a much loved little rooster I have who lost an eye in a fight and is now losing the vision in his remaining eye probably due to a cataract. I keep telling myself that he has no quality of life but as long as he can find the water bowl, which he can, and I can put a food bowl under his nose, I keep putting off that decision.

My BLU can't see very well either. But he's a good rooster, and his feathers (in his field of vision) can be a problem. But he's not going anywhere! :love
