I few days ago I noticed one of my hens with a really bad limp. She's about 5 months old and still active. I gave her a tiny amount of asprin but the limp didn't go away. She can still run but it looks sad to see. She curls her foot with the injured leg when she walks and puts all her weight on the other side that isn't injured when she's standing still and on the roosting bar. Is this a broken leg? There's a bruise on the back of her knee area with what looks like a cut maybe. It feels a bit swollen too. I can't take her to a vet, so how should I heal her?

Can you post a video of her walking to YouTube with a link here tomorrow? Can you start some vitamins that include riboflavin (vitamin B2?) Hopefully it is a mild injury, but Mareks disease might be a concern.

I can give her medicines and send a video later today, but I got her from Meyer Hatchery and all my chicks got Mareks vaccinations. Her limp is pretty bad but she's still flying and running.

Also, I saw to fix a broken leg in a chicken that you make a sort of splint, but the injury is on her "knee" and I don't know how I'll wrap / take care of it.
