Oh, I am very sorry for your loss. You might want to save her body, keeping it cold, not frozen, and get a necropsy performed by your state vet. There may have been a disease or sickness that the other chickens sensed, and was why they attacked her so savagely. Here is a list of state vets where to get a necropsy:
