Hen with discolored beak, foam at edges of mouth, swollen face

Yesterday one of my hens had swelling on one side of her head, eye swollen partway shut. Today the swelling is gone, but her beak is mottled with white and there is some foam along the edges of her beak. Yesterday she was eating ok, today spent the day in the coop on the roost. Anyone know what that sounds like, what I should do?

I am not certain about what it could be, however make sure you seperate her from the rest of your flock asap, put her in a warm place with a heat lamp perhaps and her own food and water. Keep her quiet and isolated.

Lump on head? Foaming mouth? I would say seizure. Just keep an eye on her, and follow the care in the above post.
