Hen with egg stuck to bottom - graphic warning - pic in comments

Thank you for the help

Soaked her in warm water and epsom salts. Cleaned all the poop from feathers and prolapse, freed the egg so it was not dried and stuck. Had to make a small incision in a spot with no blood vessels and the egg came out intact. she is resting in a dark place I will try and get calcium into her as soon as I can find some.

fed her most of a tum and I gave her a healthy coat of prepH
She seems exhausted no interest in eating or drink at the moment.
in a dark place resting. Update pic included in case it helps someone else.
I'm glad you were able to get the egg out.

I'd continue with the TUMS daily for a week to help with retention.

Since you did have to make an incision, I'd be inclined to also start an antibiotic if you have one on hand. Amoxicillin would be a good choice.

With her being so exhausted, I would see if she will take any sugar water to help bring her through the trauma and shock. 1teaspoon sugar to 1cup water. You can add a pinch of salt and baking soda if you wish.

Hopefully she'll pull through this, keep us posted.

Sorry I have been swamped and had a bad flue, but here is an update. My poofie headed girl seems fine now, she is still separated with a roommate that was getting picked on. This pic is from a few days ago, and she is looking bright and cheery now. Never underestimate how resilient chickens can be with a little help from their friends.
Thank y'all for the suggestions

EDIT : I had a bad flu the chicken had the bad flue
