I have an australorp hen who may be going broody, I picked her up today and felt a lump this is what I found underneath her. Should this be something to worry about if so can I treat it?

I agree, it looks like the start of breast blister. Often it's from being rubbed on a roosting bar like a pressure sore.
You can put a little triple antibiotic ointment on it if you wish and just keep an eye on it.

She's going broody? Do you plan on letting her sit and hatch eggs? If not, then I would break her.

yes i plan on letting her sit on the eggs, ive applied some antiseptic cream on it.

she often sleeps on the wider roosting bar so i think your right about it being from the bar rubbing on her breast. the roosting platform is quite wide so i added some soft hay to it as well which will hopefully prevent any further rubbing.
