Please can somebody help, I rescued this pekin bantam hen 5 days ago, I have no idea of her age. She came to me with severe problems with her feet which I have been caring for. But over the last couple of days, I have noticed her breathing with her mouth open, hardly eating or drinking, sleeping or standing still with her eyes closing alot, and her pink bits are very pale, alot paler than they look on the photos.
I am very new to chicken keeping and dont have tons of money to be going out to buy this that and the other.
I have brought her inside away from my 2 roos, and been giving her water with a syringe, 5ml a time, but I just really dont know what else to do. The internet seems to be confusing me more and now I have no idea what could be wrong with her.. Can anyone help me??

I would only feed her chicken food with no treats. Is she in the house with you? Chickens pant when they are too warm... what is the temperature of her surroundings?

Thank you for your reply! She is in the house but its bloody freezing in here lol, especially in the kitchen where she is. I have noticed it when she is in the dogs bed, she gets burrowed under the blanket so that makes sense that she could be panting, although she was breathing with her beak open when she was outside too, and it sounded rasping, along with a slightly runny nose which is what made me bring her inside in the first place.
And in regards for food, she wont eat any treats anyway, will only eat her seed/corn mix. I tried her with some sweetcorn but she wouldnt touch it! My roos love sweetcorn!!
Any ideas on the lethargy?

Seed/corn mix is a treat. If I only had chocolate in the house, I wouldn't eat anything else. Take away the seed/corn mix and give her chicken feed. She isn't getting enough nutrients, I'm thinking this could be part of the lethargy. I would also add electrolytes to her water.
She may have a respiratory infections also.

Okay, I have switched her food to our standard chicken feed. I'll have to go down to the pet store to look for electrolytes though...
I was worried about an infection of some kind, she is breathing okay (not noisily but still though her beak) most of the time, but at least 3 times over the last 4 days it has sounded raspy or like she has snot at the back of her throat, does this sound worrying to you?
Also, I was reading about a broad spectrum antibiotic for if you're not sure what's wrong, would you say these are worth buying?
