Came in to research about my 18 month old black star with dried poo under her vent. We gave her a partial bath and let her dry. Now I am debating putting her back in with the flock or isolating her for a bit. Glad to see I am not the only one and that the hens are fine.
I just wanted to offer the suggestion of a bath. This occurred to me because we have to bathe everyone that goes to fair. Before that the idea of bathing a chicken seemed silly. Works fine.
