Hope is doing very well she had her first solid poop last night which is a very good sign she is healing well. It's kinda funny I woke up this morning went in the bathroom(that is where she is staying right now) and she is looking at me like "where is my breakfast woman!" So I need to go make her some oatmeal which seems to be her favorite. Meds coming next. Her sister and brother are also doing great their color in their wattles and combs is coming back and have already noticed weight gain in all of them. That seven dust is amazing we call one nakey butt because she only has two tail feathers and she is getting new feathers! So soon we will have to come up with a new name for her. Talk to ya later will try to put a new pic of her later and my newest additions my DH bought me 2 RIR pullets about a week old they are soo cute. Isn't he wonderful!

She just had her meds and her oatmeal and some banana I still need to look at the stitches and see how those are doing but Thank you to everyone following this thread and the best wishes and prayers for Hope. I think I might take her(in the cage) out to see her sisters later when it warms up a bit. Talk to you all later.

WHAT! I can't believe you all are so brave. I would have been WAY nervous to attempt such a feat. I'm impressed. Country folk can survive!

Today we let Hope(the kids decided that she will remain hope) out to range a little while in the afternoon and she seems to be doing very well. She gave me a bit of a scare when it came time to close them up for the night, she was nowhere to be found!

I locked the coop and went to the house to get a flashlight and there she was sitting on the front steps. I opened the door and she walked right inside and went to her cage in the bathroom and started eating. Needless to say I decided she could sleep in the house again tonight

So far so good, but shes got a long road ahead of her.
