Here it is. I had my husband help with holding her on a table. Just poke her once and unscrew the syringe to empty it so you aren’t poking her more than once. Like they do when they take blood at the doctors. Maybe you should wrap her in a towel to keep her Calm.

I did it twice. Two days apart, so as not to put her into a state of shock. I haven’t had to do it again so far. It’s been probably a bit over a month. I believe my girl has underlying issues but she’s doing great after that and a round of antibiotics

Update on my hen. I took her to a vet I found half hour away that sees chickens. She said she had an infection and put her on antibiotics. She seemed to be doing better, then a couple days after finishing the antibiotics she died.
