I just noticed this evening that one of my partridge rock's eyes seems kinda sunken and watery.

It's just the one eye, the other one is fine and clear. It seems kind of set back in the socket only about halfway open. there's watery goopy stuff coming out the corner. As far as I can tell the rest of the flock looks fine.

I do hear a sneeze or cough (I can't tell the difference) every now and then but it's hard to pinpoint the bird responsible.

1) What type of bird , age and weight.
Partridge Rock hen 1yr. normal weight

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Seems to act normal, except for the eye. I think I heard her give a little sneeze/cough once

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
I just noticed this evening

4) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
no

5) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
I had a welsummer roo that had the same sunken watery eye thing a few months ago. I separated him and gave him duramycin for a week, but his eye stayed shut and got kind of crusty. I didn't really need another roo so we culled him.

6) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
She's been eating purina flock raiser with oyster shell on the side.

7) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
Not sure about the poop, but I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary in the coop

8) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
nothing

9 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
vets aren't really an option, I'll have to treat her myself or cull her myself.

10) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
It's too dark right now, but maybe later

11) Describe the housing/bedding in use
I use the Deep Litter Method with straw. They're in a hoophouse type structure and they've been cooped up all week due to a good foot of snow.

She's a good hen, but only lays a few eggs a week at best. If it's CRD or something like it would it be okay to eat her? I don't like this aspect of chicken raising.

I hope u get an answer! Partriges we dont have but our chicken about a year and a half had the same eye and it didnt kill her although she died about six months later, she was blind in that eye after, still dont know what? somone will help u shortly I am new here and I have gotton help already didnt take five minutes and I got answers, good luck

Not sure it's the same thing, but I had a girl who got pecked in the eye by another girl and it got all watery and half - closed and "sunken" looking for about a month. I kept her on duramycin just in case and it healed on its own. She's perfectly normal now.
Hope that's all it is for you as well!

It is possible that it's some kind of injury, they're in with some young roos who have just come to realize their manliness.

some of the hens have small injurys from the boys around the face. We're getting rid of the rowdy boys bright and early in the morning so the hens will be safe. I hope that this is the case, and it's not one of those horrible respitory diseases.
