Hen with swollen cheeks/face

One of my hens have developed lumps on either side of her face.
I first noticed it a few days ago, she is totally fine other than this and it does not effect her eyes.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is.

Does she have some dried mucous in her nostril as well?

Look inside the ears for debris and infection and inside the beak for any canker, sores or lesions.

Thank you for your reply, her ears look clear inside, and nothing else seems out of the ordinary other than the swelling

I would look to see if there's a tiny scab from where something bit her.

The swelling has to be caused by something - insect bite or infection would be the 2 things I would consider. Does the swelling feel hard or fluid filled?

I did notice a tiny scab on the swelling but the fact that both sides of her face or swollen exactly the same size and place I am not so sure of a bite.

The swelling is hard and feels hot, do you think this means infection?

Could be infection, can you take her to a vet?
