Quick update. I've been adding ACV to their water along with the rooster booster powder. I also started adding a bit of the VetRx to it as well. I've continued applying the Terramycin ointment to her left eye and VetRx on her beak, head, and wings. Just a day or so ago I also started misting her with Young Living thieves oil diluted in water. This morning, she came out and actually wasn't itching. She gave me a run for the money trying to catch her too, which is a first, and was even quacking some again. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but in general she just seemed happier this morning. Her eye is still squinted and watery. I think I need to start flushing it out more with a saline solution.

Update: She actually took two steps back on me with the itching for a while. She has managed to itch herself a big bald patch on the left side of her face. Surprisingly, her eye is still open nicely though. After she had initially gotten the feathers off, I realized that underneath was a thick scaly buildup. I immediately thought it was something fungal with the skin, so I started applying this product that my mom had originally gotten for me, called Thyme Out. It's basically just thyme oil with aloe vera added in. After a few days of that she seems to be way less irritated and the buildup is just about gone, so I have my fingers crossed that the skin is going to start healing up. The main thing I'm still battling is her left eye, which is foaming up. I've been doing saline washes, but I'm hesitant to try the ointment again because if I am dealing with something fungal, it's only going to make things worse.

On a lighter note, I just about gave myself a heart attack when I looked her over this morning. I've never actually seen a bird without their head feathers and didn't know what their ears looked like underneath. I thought she had dug a hole in her head for a few seconds before it dawned on me what I was looking at. I felt rather silly afterwards.
