wike up this morning a one of my girls won’t stand up and is holding her wing outstretched and opposite leg out stretched. Gave her water via syringe. She’s alert but won’t move or make a sound also she was holding her mouth open.

How old is she, and was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? I would place her in a basket or dog crate with her own food and water near her. Look for any swelling or bruising on her leg, and see if she can move her toes or if the toes are curled under. Can you get some Poultry NutriDrench or Poultry Cell vitamins with electrolytes, and give her 2-3 ml daily? Mix a small bowl of her chicken feed with a lot of water to make it runny, and add some chopped egg to it. That will get more fluids into her and make it easier to eat.

Mareks disease is something to rule out, although I have seen chickens who are very ill or dying from other problems exibit this behavior. Injury may be a possibility. Here is some reading about Mareks:

She is curling her center toe on one foot I have separated her and gave her own food and water. Thank you for the info I will be reading this this evening
