Do you count your daily egg toll? The practical poultry magazine tell how to tell if a hen is laying for not. Check their butts. I've read so much I can't remember everything. I'm old an my computer (brain) doesn't have the storage the newer models do. I believe her butt should be moist and white. Pelvis bones should not be tight.
Contrary to popular belief they don't lay everday. In fact my Dels didn't lay anything today, but I expect it's the new kids in the coop that have thrown them off or that there is chick starter in the bin instead of layer.
