How can I make a nesting box?

I don't know what kind of coop set-up you have, but you can just buy one from your local feed store or easily make your own. She'll appreciate a nest box.

You can use so many things for a nesting box,mine is an old dresser with a couple shelves knocked out, then put some pine shavings in there or whatever you may use

I made some nesting boxes using laundry baskets and some plastic bins. I can't afford to buy anything right now, and my hens are loving checking them out. I eventually plan to do more than just that, but for now it's going to have to due. I'm thinking about going the plastic storage bin route with the lids on and cutting a hole in the side. My baskets are lined with straw for nesting. They move it around to where they want it anyways so I just put enough in there to make a soft nest.
