So it’s been a few weeks since I first posted a picture of this Wyandotte chicken. First round of feedback was this was definitely a rooster, but still no crowing and I’m just not sure. Thoughts??

It’s a rooster most don’t begin crow till five or six months,some earlier some later.

I'm still going with cockerel. I've had them crow as early as 5 weeks and as late as 5 months of age.

The black feathers without any lacing across the shoulders/below the neck say cockerel. In a female these feathers would be laced, or at this age when the coloring isn't great yet, they'd at least have traces of gold on them hinting at lacing.
