Hens all roost in the pop door opening??

Our four silkie hens all seem to fight over the best spot in the pop door opening...I think they would be more comfy further in the house..it is not hot here yet especially at night, temps down to 59 degrees. Is this normal??? I do leave the door open at night as the run is attached and part of the whole setup.

Our 9 hens all huddle up in front of our pop door at night too. We leave the door open when the overnight temp is above 50 degrees. They'll lay there and look out the door while they're awake. They are 12 weeks old and have no interest in using the roosts yet. Hopefully they'll figure out the roosts soon!
