Hens as weather prognosticators?

My two hens seem to have a keen sense of sunrise and sunset times, but today I noticed that they marched into their coop a full hour before sunset. Then I learned from the evening news that my area is under a tornado watch.
Do my girls sense bad weather coming?
I've only had them a few weeks, but already I've learned that they're a lot brighter than most people give them credit for!

They do seem to feel what is coming and will head for cover before bad weather hits. Chickens are definitely more complex than they get credit for.

Is it mostly true your chickens predicted a tornado, or that you are full of it. You were unclear.
