Hens began fighting HELP

I have 2 hens and one rooster. All incubated myself and are 5 weeks old.
They've been absolutely fine until today. The 2 hens have been fighting all day
but it really escalated this evening until they were both drenched in sweat.
It appeared they were fighting over the rooster who seems to be mostly
oblivious... he did begin to ruffle up toward the end of the evening. The fighting
seemed bad enough to separate the hens for the night. I will reunite them in the
morning for feeding and roaming the backyard.

Is this going to end? Will they hurt each other fatally? They've been raised together
since hatching and this is brand new behavior.

Pecking order trials. Your roo is number one (hopefully) and now the other two are figuring out who will be last. Last is not good in chicken-land. Keep an eye on them. Most of the time they figure it out, but these two sound serious.

At 5 weeks of age hows sure are you of gender? That's still too young to be sure in some cases.

This morning I fed them separately. Then let them all into the yard. The hen that slept inside in a brooder went right into the coop with the other hen. It was tense and they just stood by each other ... the isolated hen was cooing to the other hen then turned around and started drinking from the watering can. I’ve observed them all day off & on and they appear back to normal. The hens keep distance of each other. It seems the isolated hen accepted submission to the other hen...
I’ll keep watching.
I seem confident in sexing the birds but I’m about to take and attach a photo if anyone wants to look.

Need close and clear pics of combs...but I don't think the white one is a cockerel.

FYI.....semantics, maybe, but can be important communication terms when discussing chicken behavior.
-Female chickens are called pullets until one year of age, then they are called hens.
-Male chickens are called cockerels until one year of age, then they are called cocks(or cockbirds or roosters).
Age in weeks or months is always a good thing to note.

What does your coop and run look like?

I don't think the white one is a cockerel either. I do think at least one of the red ones may male but better pictures would help.

Thank you all for the information. I’ll get some clearer photos.
They were drenched and wet so I’m not sure how they ended up that way lol if not sweat .. I have more to learn.

before I get new pics of the young birds I’m wondering if anyone knows what breed this rooster is. This is their father. He just wandered onto my family property. Their mother is a Sicilian Buttercup for certain because I purchased her knowingly. So, the chicks I have are a cross between the 2. I’m new to poultry & appreciate anything y’all can teach me
