I picked up one of my hens earlier to show her the gate was open to outside their coop. (First time letting them free range.) When I did, I noticed the backside of her comb is all bloody. It kind of seems like its disconnected a little in the back. I'm not sure what she did, either one of the other hens did it or maybe she stuck her head through the chainlink fence and when she pulled it back it caught?

Is there anything I can do for this? Should I just clean it up and make sure it stays clean? I would be thankful for any help.

I'm not sure what has happened to your hen, but monitor her, and if it is bullying, seperate her from the others. I have heard from somewhere vaseline helps combs, but I wouldn't count on it.

Yes, I would just wipe off the blood and keep an eye on it. If you notice it getting infected, I would give her antibiotic to fight it. I'm sure she'll be just fine. :) Hope this helps! :)
