My 1 1/2 year old Buff Orbington has a line across the length of one side of her comb. It is along the bottom edge. Just noticed it tonight so couldn't get a photo. She is the only one laying right now. We've had some pretty cold weather several days not getting out of the mid 30's. Could she have some frost bite?
She and the others were traumatized about a month ago with a dog attack, could this have been an injury from that?
