So I’m not sure if her comb is normal or not.
Compared to the rest of my flock here is the only one that’s laid over like this.
Combs honestly confuse me.
I have some straight high and proud on my roosters, other roosters of mine have short warty looking combs and the same goes for my hens.
This hen is the only bird whose comb is flopped over though.
Is it normal or am I right to raise the question?
All birds are about 17-20 weeks roughly

It's bright red, so I am wondering if she's laying. If not, her hormones are only just coming in, and once she starts to lay, the comb may be more erect.

Beyond that, a comb reflects individual genetics as well as breed genetics. It's why there is so much variety in combs among different breeds and individual chickens.

Illness and molting affect hormone levels, so combs can turn floppy under those circumstances

She hasn’t laid yet, my ISA Browns are but none of my sapphire gems are laying yet.
