Ear mites smell bad, and broodies tend to get mites. It wouldn't hurt to dust her and the nest.

Ok looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me. I appreciate everyone's help. But just one thing in re to all the info Ive been given- I dont know if her ear needs to drain anything, it just looks swollen. Theres no goo coming out of it. I think Ill nix the peroxide and move on to the other recommendations. If I put the other ointments on, do I still wash it with soap and water?

Just wanted to update everyone, sorry it took so long. My Henny is doing much better. Her ear is all cleared up and it only took 1 session of peroxide and a few washes with neosporin every time. I thank you all for your advice and concern

now just to get some of those eggs shes on to hatch.....
