For the past week, we have been losing one egg a day due the hens eating it. We are finding that this one particuliar hen, while she is getting ready to lay, will have all the other hens just waiting for her to lay the egg, and if we are not in there as soon as she lays it, they peck at it til it breaks and than they eat it. None of the other eggs are being picked on, why this hens eggs??
