Hens foot is bleeding. Mites?

Could this be mites? An injury? She's acting normal.

Looks like she has a fair amount of scale loss so that will take a while to look normal, the skin will be a bit more tender until the scales fill back in. I'd probably put some plain neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment (no pain killer) on any areas that are bleeding or have wounds or sores.
