It's fairly unusual for an RIR to go broody. She must be very committed. Of course if you don't have a rooster, her eggs(if any) will be infertile.

Yeah, that's why I didn't think broodiness was causing the puffed up appearance and setting on the nest so much. Looking up symptoms figured it might be a disease. But thanks to those who replied I decided she was broody even though a RIR
