Most of the hens in my flock of 10 have poop around the vent area. This has been going on for about a week. Today I found one hen dead in the run. What could this be and how do I treat it? Also a few days ago I lost a young hen from a different coop on the other side of my property. That hen's hatch mates just started laying so I thought she may have gotten egg bound.or something. She also had a large amount of poop around her vent. The runs are separate but I do go from one to the other wearing the same shoes. Any ideas?
