Hens have spots on their combs

    Our two leghorn hens have some black, white, and yellow spots on their combs, which seem a little bit paler than usual. By comparison, the rooster's comb is bright, red, and healthy looking. Any ideas what gives?

    Fowl pox? Or, if you've been experiencing really cold temps, possibly frostbite. But we're just getting into really cold temps here in Montana.
