hens humping

I have 8 hems ( I hope) and I saw one of the hems humping another hem. I am wondering if this is normal or do I have a Ros. If it's a ros. I have not heard it crow. and how do I tell if it's a Ros/.,

By 'humping' I assume you mean mounting?
Mounting is not always about sex, it's about domination....
....and yes it's fairly common, especially if there is no cock/erels around.
