Hens Hurt, Need Help

A dog managed to get into my chicken coop and attacked my Hens, and Ducklings. It killed one Duckling, Broken another's leg, and torn up the rear ends of my Hens.

The wounds on the hens aren't deep, but they're very large. I took them to the vet, but he didn't know very much and only gave me medication to prevent Infection. Is there anything else I should do to help them? The feathers are covering a lot of the wounds, so flies aren't landing in it.

And if anyone knows how to split a Duckling leg, my vet wasn't too helpful and there isn't any other vet nearby.

There is a product (for horses) that keeps flies off wounds, I believe called Scat. People do use it on chickens.

Thank you very much, I was worried out my little Duckling but he's fighting and scooting around with his one good leg.

I more worried about my hens, They're up and moving, eating and drinking just fine. But the wounds are large and open.
