Hens kicking my fertile egg out of nest

Any chance of finding some day old chicks for her?

I might have to try, but as of right now all the easy places like feed store's aren't carrying them, and its to hot to ship eggs or chicks. This one just had to make it 1 more week (actually 5-6 days) but I'll start asking some friends if they might have any close to hatch that I can get

Unfortunately she was still having issues with other hens trying to get in the nesting box. I don't know who got more upset (me or her) but i kicked the others out of her coop and closed the door so no one can bother her and her new baby anymore. Once my husband gets home this afternoon we have 3 more roosts to install in the new coop then we will move all the other hens. I took the picture after i kicked the others out while sge was getting readjusted

Little fuzzy butt hatched yesterday afternoon, mama and baby are doing very well. Mama came down out of the coop this afternoon and now her and baby are on the ground. I moved thier feed and water and grave then a cardboard box with pine shaving so she can make the baby a new bed. Baby should be a lavender Orpington or a lavender mix but it's so cute either way

And yes all the other hens are in the big coop, I'll move mama and baby after a few more things get finished over there
