Julie, that was a great tribute to your Grandfather!
I'm lucky enough to still have my grandparents around, thank God. Now that I'm older (& not a pigheaded know-it-all), I really enjoy talking with them about the "old ways" of farming, raising animals, preserving food, etc. They also get a kick out of my animals, as they're not well enough to keep their own anymore.
