Hens lay first eggs!

I am one proud Mama Hen. Two of my girls have started laying. One little red hen (I don't know what kind she is) and one Leghorn,20 wks old! I was so excited! Here's a couple of pics!!

Congrats on your first eggs!
Henrietta Brown has laid 6 now.. unfortunately one of the first was laid outside the nesting box and got trampled, but nobody ate it. I put the whole egg in the nesting box, and the next time she laid another egg beside it, next outside the box... stick it in the box... last two were in the box! YAY Henrietta! She's a black sex link and I raised her from a chick. Getting pullets old enough to lay is challenging on the nerves (too impatient) but whoopie when they do!

One of my girls is named Henrietta, but Henrietta Brown is perfect!!
