Hens laying from the roost....in the middle of the night!

Shoot, I have video, the coop specific starts about 6:33.

They have been laying for a good 2 months now, and this issue just started this past week or so. The only change I can think of is we switched out wood shavings for straw, but they were all laying on that with no problem for at least a week or more before this started.

Hard to see on a vid, I'm not good at moving targets....
....but looks like the end nests are smaller, especially the one on the right.
Coop is pretty darn small for 14 birds.
You may just have a traffic jam coupled with crowding crabbiness.
Can't think of an easy solution.

Funny, the right box was the popular one until this week, all boxes are about 14 X 16 IIRC. Working on building out a pallet barn, but it takes time to find all the materials for free....hopefully it will be bigger, as I just used what I had at the time. Sometimes that's all you can do.
