Hens laying?

I have several hens that are about 7-9 months old. They aren't laying yet, and I am wondering when they will start. Anyone have any insight on when I can expect to find eggs?

I am assuming that you are talking about turkey hens since you posted in the turkey forum. In Virginia, turkey hens should start laying any time now. I am expecting my turkey hens to start laying any day also.

If you are talking about chicken hens, @eggbert420 is correct and you have posted in the wrong forum.

I am meaning my turkey hens. I have Narragansett and Bourbon Reds. I hope they will lay soon, as I see them making nests already. Don't want to miss it!

My BR's and bronze hen laid in the spring, so I would think you'll start seeing eggs within the next few weeks or so. Keep an eye on them, if they free range. Mine hid all their nests. Good luck!
