Hello,

My friends have a hen who hasn’t been doing well for quite a while oily green poop, keeps tail completely tucked, trouble walking/standing, and just now noticed that her feet and shanks have turned green... she eats a ton, drinks, and her comb head looks nice and bright, and she’s quite alert... my question is what could cause her legs to turn green? They also have been keeping her inside as taking her for supervised trips outside.
Thanks

Are both legs turning green it just the one? What are you feeding her?
It’s both legs. Apparently when she stands (which she almost never does) her feet overlap. I believe they are feeding her layer pellets, scrambled eggs, a little bit of yogurt, and pedialyte in her water for the electrolytes.

Maybe, but I had a hen who was broody for much longer than I care to admit and her legs didn’t turn green from not using them..
I have no clue.
I was thinking out loud.

Is she laying eggs?
