Hens making honking sound

I am new to this...my hens are around 15 weeks old and they sound hoarse. It’s almost like a honking sound. They have lots of cold water each day, they are eating regularly and are acting normal but I’m concerned. Any idea what this could be and what I can do?

Don’t take this as something stop your concern if you believe that something is actually wrong, but we did notice our hens sounded more like geese honking when they were just starting to use their voices for more than just peeps.. infact, they still do for the most part and they are 4-5 months now. It may just be normal if they are otherwise healthy, breathing/eating and drinking fine.

I have Marans chicken eleven weeks old. They sound like honking instead of normal squawking. I thought it was a french thing.

My one hen did that two. I used to call her my little goose goose! It's probably just their voices changing. Just keep an eye on them if they are acting sick in any way.

I don't hear anything alarming. They are probably just getting their adult voices. Some of them can sound honky and hoarse when that happens.
