Hens needing help

Two of my girls are starting to get sores above their tail feathers where the Rooster is mounting them. What do you do, and how do you treat these areas?? Thank you

Tractor supply should have some chicken safe wound sprays. Clean and dress the areas and order a chicken saddle for your hens. I know some people don’t like them but for your case it might be safer for now until they heal. Depending if it’s cold by you make sure anything you apply to the wound is dry because cold weather can freeze it and it won’t feel great on the hen.
