Hens not laying

Yes in the feed.
It should only ever be feed free choice.
Stress affects egg production. It's it's been very hot where you are out predators have been visiting this week only delay the onset of regular laying.
I would also recommend you get their total protein intake up to 18-20%.
Give them time.

That won't be enough. You will need to keep plain oyster shell in a seperate dish. If you don't already, you should also keep grit in another dish. The grit is for digestive health. Both are very, very important for your hens.
You can get all of these at Tractor Supply, or another feed store, or Walmart .

Greetings & Salutations. A Belated Welcome.

I found out the hard way that they can lay outside the box. 9 eggs in the garage behind a 5' statue of St Joseph and 6 at the side door of the garage. After noticing less eggs for several days, I watched closely and voila. The weather was good, so we ate them. 🤣

This is a wonderful site on which to Learn and enjoy. We are pleased to have you in the community.
