Hens on strike...what the fig newton?!?!

The ladies kicked up production about 3 weeks ago - the 12 of them giving us on avg. 7 eggs a day. Charlotte (who didn't molt last fall) has just started molting and she was an egg a day kind of gal - obvious why she's out of commission right now. But what's up with the others?!?! Do they think is some sort of vacation? No hidey holes anywhere....might this be cold weather related?? We stupidly bragged on the production being high and now everyone wants their eggs!!

Anyone else have this happen??

Yep mine did it the first real cold we had.. My girls are still only giving us 3 eggs a day from 10 hens.. I understand the frustraiton...
